Beginner’s guide to the Eisenhower Matrix

7 min read
The Eisenhower Matrix is a time management and personal organization tool. The matrix is based on two prioritization criteria: urgency and importance. It allows tasks to be classified into four categories:

  • Priority tasks: These tasks are both urgent and important. They must be executed immediately and by yourself.
  • Tasks to plan: These tasks are important but not urgent. They must be planned and executed by yourself.
  • Tasks to delegate: These tasks are urgent but not important. They must be delegated quickly.
  • Tasks to abandon: These tasks are neither urgent nor important. They are useless and should be abandoned.

By using this matrix, you can better prioritize your tasks, increase your productivity, and more quickly identify the most urgent tasks.

In this video, Naomi tells you everything you need to know about the Eisenhower Matrix and how to implement it.
